Dr. Schwartz graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1981. He then served 3 1/2 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain and head of the Optometry Clinic at McGuire Air Force Base. He was named Outstanding Medical Officer of the Year in 1984.
In 1985, Dr. Schwartz established his practice in the Eyelab/Pearle Vision building in Langhorne. His practice grew to become the largest contact lens practice in the area. In 2009, Dr. Schwartz decided to open his own private practice in order to deliver the highest quality eyewear and eyecare to his patients.
Dr. Schwartz believes in "giving back" by providing eye exams to needy children in the community. He has also been a member of the Big Brother Association for over 25 years and is currently spending time with his 5th "little brother".
When not at work, Dr. Schwartz enjoys running triathlons, skiing, and golf. His favorite pasttime is taking his wife, son, and daughter to Eagles and Phillies games.
Dr. Joyce graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2012 with Clinical Honors. She completed her undergraduate studies at Misericordia University with a Biology major and Chemistry minor in 2006. In 2008, she earned a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Scranton.
She specializes in contact lens fitting and evaluation, as well as the management and treatment of dry eye syndrome, amblyopia and glaucoma. Additionally, Dr. Joyce manages many ocular diseases including hypertensive and diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and cataracts.
In her free time, Dr. Joyce enjoys running, biking, and weight-training. She is also certified by the American Council of Exercise and YogaFit to teach yoga, spin, boot camp, and pilates classes. She utilizes her fitness and nutrition background in her approach to patient management by connecting all facets of a patient's life to his or her ocular health.
